About the Era 50mm uPVC Solvent Weld End Cap
The Era 50 mm solvent cap is a uPVC pressure fitting that seals the end of a 50 mm pipe. Rated PN16, it is used to close off pipe runs and future connection points in irrigation, potable water supply, chemical installations, water treatment, swimming pools and the food industry.

The cap fits pipe made to international standards including ISO 727, DIN 8063, UNI 7442/75, KIWA 54, NF T54-028 and BS 4361/1, with BS 21 covering threaded BSP ranges. Because a solvent-welded cap is permanent, use a threaded cap or a valve instead if you will need to reopen the line later.
